Student council meeting

During the November Student Council Meeting we began by discussing food options. Amongst several other ideas, vegetarian options, hot chocolate and the potential gluten free options were discussed.

Then we discussed year group matters.

Year 11s spoke about their mock exams and upcoming GCSE’s as well as revision material. The changes to the West Coast USA Trip.

Year 10 asked for feminine hygiene units in the toilets, which have been acted on.

Year 9 considered basketball hoops on yard and the introduction of PE Theory into KS3.

Finally, the Year 7s concluded year group matters by asking about PE kits and bus prefects.

The final part of the meeting was spent reviewing our latest Mission Week. Year 11 had high praise for Science and PE’s Mercy themed lessons as did Year 10 for the whole week.  Years 7, 8 and 9 thoroughly enjoyed Mission Week and had suggestions for next time.
