Nichola Jackson

Congratulations to former pupil Nichola Jackson, who has been selected to represent Great Britain at the World Long Distance Mountain Running Championships in Premana, Italy on the 6th of August. She achieved selection by finishing 2nd lady  at the selection race, the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Fell Race on Saturday 29th April, finishing 40th overall in 3:26.17 over 23.5 miles and 4500 feet of ascent. The race takes in the summits of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough starting and finishing from Horton-in-Ribblesdale.
