CAFOD Make A Splash!

We are delighted to announce that this year, due to the fantastic efforts of all of our pupils and staff we are able to present a donation to CAFOD of £5,050!

It has been amazing to see the energy and creativity of our pupils around school, who have worked so hard with their form tutors to find ways by which to reach, and in most cases exceed, their £75 form target.

Thanks must also be expressed to our fantastic staff who have facilitated some great fundraising activities, giving up their lunchtimes to wash cars, hold FIFA competitions, create a ‘photo booth’, and some even volunteered to literally make a splash, by having pupils throw water-filled sponges at them!

In this Jubilee Year of Mercy it has been great to support CAFOD, a charity which enables us all to put into action the call of Jesus to feed the hungry, give drink to the thirsty, clothe the naked, shelter the homeless, visit the sick and imprisoned, and bury the dead.

Let’s continue to pray for the work of CAFOD and for all of our brothers and sisters in greatest need around the world.
