Year 8 Castlerigg (1) 🎉🙏
Our first residential retreat of the year took place last weekend where 41 Y8 pupils am headed up to @castleriggmanor for a wekend of faith and friendship.
We had a fantastic weekend, despite the weather 🌧️, and the group enjoyed time together, time in prayer snd time reflecting on the theme of the Holy Spirit.
We are looking forward to our second Y8 Castlerigg retreat and our Y9 @savio_house retreat both in January! #retreat #allhallowschaplaincy #castelrigg #holyspirit 🔥🕊️

November is traditionally a time when we pray for

November is traditionally a time when we pray for and remember those who have died. At the front entrance of school we have created a prayer display and we are inviting pupils, staff and their families to share picture of the saints of their families who they wish our school community to pray for and remember throughout November.
If you would like a loved one remembered as part of this display feel free to DM your picture or email it to kwi@allhallows.lancs.sch.uk.

This week we are celebrating our school feast day. Last Friday the Church celebrated All Saints Day or All Hallows day. Join us as we pray together this week, asking for the prayers of the saints in heaven. 7 Francis have a hymn of the week which they sing each week praising and worshiping God. St Augustine said: “Those who sing, pray twice!” We managed to capture them this week singing one of their favourites thanks to @mark10mission !! #praiseandworship #prayer #sing 🙌🏽🎶⛪️
